Chapel Down produces a world-class range of sparkling and still wines. Their
sparkling wines are created using the Traditional Method, the same
Champagne, from fruit sourced from their own and partner vineyards across
the South-East of England.
In 2014, they secured two long-term land leases in Kent increasing their
total land under lease by 181 acres to 326 acres. These sites, in the
North Downs and Sandhurst, offer prime viticultural land that will be
planted over the coming years to enable them to satisfy the increasing
demand for our wines.
In 2015 they own over 100 acres of vineyards across Kent, which has some of the finest overall conditions for grape growing exists in
England. They also source our fruit from a wider geographic area –
from Essex to Hampshire - with 13 growers supplying fruit from 130 acres under vine
and who are under long-term contract.
Set in the heart of ‘The Garden of England’ they have a team of highly professional, talented people who share a vision of creating World Class, interesting, distinctive and award-winning wines.
