English Red Wine

English red wines may be produced for a number of grape varieties, such as Dornfelder and Pinot Noir. Due to the cooler climate, wines are lighter in body than some of their international counterparts. English red wines are more comparable to a red Sancerre, Alsace, or lighter Beaujolais styles. Many can be enjoyed slightly chilled.
