Jenkyn Place Vineyard Brut 2008

With silver medal in the 2011 UK Vineyards Association competition for the Jenkyn Place Brut 2007, the newly released 2008 has a lot to live up. We were confident it would exceed its predecessor’s achievements, and it hasn't let us down with 3 bronze medals in the major international wine competitions in 2012. Made in the méthode traditionelle, this exciting English sparkling wine is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes grown in a terroir of greensand, chalk and marlstone reminiscent of the Champagne region. With apple aromas and green fruit flavours it is sophisticated and reassuring. Perfect for the special occasion this English sparkling wine is more than a match for its continental cousins.

More recently this delicious Brut, pun most defintely intended, has won a gold medal in this year's China Wine Awards and received five stars in the What Food Wine Awards.
